Oban Sailing Day

An all-inclusive relaxing day's sail. Perfect for birthday treats, anniversaries,

Family fun days or a romantic escape away. Sailing experience is not required, but you are welcome to help with sailing the boat and hoisting the sails.

Departing from Oban's North Pier Pontoons.

Sailing to a local remote anchorage, a light lunch and whisky tasting is included.

£600 for up to five guests (whole boat, you will be the only guests)​

£760 if you'd like to stay on board the night before. (From 7pm)

Typically meet at 09:30 and return by 16:30 (Approx 7hrs)

What to expect:

After arrival and settled on board, we will cast off around 10am and gently sail to a remote anchorage. Depending on the wind and tide we will sail either to Puilladobhrain (Pool of the Otter), Duart Castle, or the Isle of Lismore where we will lay anchor for a light lunch. Guests are welcome to take part in the sailing of the vessel, or simply relax and watch the stunning scenery with a dram in hand.

There will be plenty of time to row ashore or swim in the sea if desired while the skipper prepares lunch. After lunch we will lift the anchor and gently motor towards Oban while we start a small whisky tasting experience in the cockpit. We will get the sails up as much as we can while we enter Oban Bay for the end of your sailing trip.

All food and drink on board. Light Lunch, Snacks. Cooked by the skipper.

Lunch typically consists of either a soup & sandwich, locally caught mussels, or something similar.
